This month contains a few presentations and sessions of note for me, and I realized I should compile a list. While I won't personally be attending Engage this year, it's shaping up to be a good conference and OpenNTF and Jakarta EE will be well represented (in chronological order):

Goodbye, Nathan

It would be difficult to overstate Nathan T. Freeman's impact on the Domino community. I can only imagine he was similarly impactful in other parts of his life, but that's how I knew him. Back when I was first getting involved in Domino, he was one of the main people to follow. I'd read blogs and comments and know that with his name came something very much worth reading. His assertiveness came across clearly, but was immediately followed by the justification.

CollabSphere 2020: DEV101 - Add Continuous Delivery to Domino with the NSF ODP Tooling

CollabSphere 2020 is starting tomorrow, this year naturally taking the form of an online conference, which has the nice benefit of meaning that you can still sign up if you haven't done so, and you're only restricted by your time zone offset for attending. For my part, I'll be giving a presentation on the NSF ODP Tooling, currently slated for tomorrow:

My Slides From Engage 2019 - De04. Java With Domino After XPages

Engage 2019 has come and gone, and I had an excellent time. I also quite enjoyed presenting my "group therapy" session on some options that XPages developers have for the future. In a lot of ways, it was similar to my presentation at CollabSphere last year, mixed with the various new developments I've talked about on here since then

MWLUG 2016 Slides

I just returned from this year's MWLUG, held in surprisingly-rainy Austin, Texas. As every year, MWLUG is an outstanding event, particularly for a development crowd (though I think admins get tons of material too). I'm definitely looking forward to next year's in DC, and not merely because that's a pretty quick drive for me.

Quick, Short-Notice Announcement: Delaware Valley Soc-Biz UG Meetup

I'll be there, giving a presentation about OpenNTF and some of the ways that I've used the projects we work on there on my customer projects.

Connect 2016 and Darwino 1.0

Last week was Connect 2016 and, while I don't have a full review of it, I felt that it was a pretty successful conference. The new venue was much less weird and more purpose-fitting than expected. Moreover, while the conference content wasn't bursting with announcements and in-depth technical dives like at something like WWDC, it did feel a bit more grounded and less marketing-hollow than the last two.
