You will find instructions how to install a smaller deployment based on Orient Me 6.0.0.1. You can also use the customized yml files to downsize an already installed environment (just compare them against your deployment).

Today I got feedback from IBM that the fix that Microsoft releases does solve the blue screen issue with Notes and the customized home page issue.

At Engage I hosted a round table discussion titled “Domino Next Generation IDE“. The discussion was around giving / promoting CRUD API access to databases, views and forms, as well as managing scheduled processes (which in the NSF world is handled as agents). The discussion was useful and covered a number of aspects. Since then I’ve digested and distilled the feedback I received, done some further investigation, and put together a spec.

Traveler 9.0.1.18 comes with a couple of minor fixes and a big change in the way Traveler Server access mail-databases. In 9.0.1.15 IBM introduced a new check if the Traveler server is listed in Trusted Servers (Server Security Tab) to show a warning if not. Now we know what IBM was preparing for.

As we work to get our Notes applications functioning smoothly with our Outlook mail, I’m finding ways to keep the close binding between Notes applications and the user’s mail. It’s so much easier to click a button to generate an email associated to a particular Notes document than to copy-paste a document link.
